Oh dear. You're going to be one of the types of people who gets pouty about having to run from the anomalies instead of fighting them, aren't you?? Don't worry. You'll get used to it. :P It's good that you're already used to survival in general, though! Some people really, really aren't and it takes a while for them to get in the right kind of mindset. I assume that's what happens with some of the enexplained newbie deaths we get?? You know. They overestimate their energy levels and don't make it in for curfew, or they're too proud to scavenge, or they freeze when confronted with an anomaly... then poof.
