I've been hearing about this all day, and I do not understand why he's not removing the thing.

Because it's the equivalent of murder. And Rhys both feels sorry for him and has a fear of being alone. Even if everyone else dies or starts hating him - Jack will still be there, you know? And even though he sucks, it's. It's kind of comforting to know someone will always be around.

He's quiet. Perceptive. Good at disappearing into the back of a room and making everybody forget that he's there. He'll still panic a bit sometimes, when the stakes are high and things don't look like they'll turn out well for us, but he's loyal. He'd walk through fire for me, if I asked.

Fucking hell, I hope he never shows up here.
