And you don't think even a lie could be illuminating in its own way? I'd kinda just be interested in knowing whether or not she'd acknowledge the issue at all.

The dream was illuminating. That's enough, I think. I'm trying not to worry so much about what's real and what isn't. What's real is weird enough to begin with.
