A mean-spirited gossip, no less. If you pick through some of his conversations, you'll see what I mean. It *will* make you feel grimy and uncomfortable, though, so maybe better not to?? >:VVV And yeah, I've been here a while. 160 days, I think?
I wasn't even one of the first. Alphonse - the author of the newbie guide? - was here a little over a month before me, I think. Some others, too. But hey! That just proves that this place is more survivable than it seems, right? Particularly if you're determined and/or stubborn as all heck. >:39
I'm pretty familiar with surviving outside of civilization, though I'll admit that the climate was a bit more warm than this. I can't say these monsters here are much different than what I'm used to back home, either. Though, I guess a bit more lethal considering a touch is enough to do you in, in most cases.
Oh dear. You're going to be one of the types of people who gets pouty about having to run from the anomalies instead of fighting them, aren't you?? Don't worry. You'll get used to it. :P It's good that you're already used to survival in general, though! Some people really, really aren't and it takes a while for them to get in the right kind of mindset. I assume that's what happens with some of the enexplained newbie deaths we get?? You know. They overestimate their energy levels and don't make it in for curfew, or they're too proud to scavenge, or they freeze when confronted with an anomaly... then poof.
I swear talking with me is usually a *little* less morbid than this :I
Nah, I won't lie and say it isn't frustrating, but without my weapons or my powers, I don't really think trying to fight much of anything is a good idea.
Yeah, I guess my friend's love of camping really paid off. It's almost a shame he's not here, he'd love this. Anyway, I don't plan on dying out in the cold, or in the clutches of one of those daemons, and don't sweat the morbid stuff, I'm pretty sure this place doesn't give you much of a choice.

161 days. Damn. It's still so hard to swallow that people have been here that long.
