They're not too bad. I think. He isn't in any danger from them, I mean. They look kinda nasty and I expect that they hurt at least a little, but - yeah.

The former. Nothing broken. Some pretty hardcore bruising and a bump to the head, mostly.

Hopefully not. I'm keeping an eye on him, though. As - as much as he'll let me.

I have higher standards for what constitutes "not all right," which helps a lot with that.
