this is interesting and pretty relevant
i mean my world DID have tech kind of like that
did you ever hear about sburb or sgrub
its existence was predestined because stable time loops and whatever else made it happen but the whole purpose of that was creating an entire new universe to live in
which just makes it even weirder why or how this could have got started

I've seen SBURB namedropped here, I think. I don't remember who by. Jade, maybe. I only recognise the name, though, and our universe doesn't have it! As far as I know.
Do you think it could exist in this world?? Or something like it? Could it glitch out and produce a situation like this if someone stupid tried to reverse-engineer it or something?

(I really hope not, because the idea of keeping time loops stable sounds freaking hideous)

take it from a time traveler you do not want to be on time loop duty
most of the big loops kind of fed themselves through a bunch of stuff leading them to happen the way they did
but doing something wrong that related to one of those just led to a doomed timeline
and everybody dying
that said i dont know how time works here exactly
and this probably has nothing to do with sburb
for starters the universe containing earth is dead and gone in my chunk of reality
and even if it were starting the game kind of coincides with the end of the world
besides
if this place DID run on reverse engineered sburb tech there would be other stuff here related to it
and ive seen no signs of weird alchemy experiments or sylladexes or whatever else

Okay, whew. No offense, but your whole deal sounds kinda exhausting.
And apocalypses are awful, or so I hear!! Haha
I don't suppose speculating will get us anywhere for now, anyway. Not enough information.

Say, how did you manage to get the chips?? Without dying, I mean?

i left them on the floor after we got paralyzed the first time
they were still there in the morning
so i did this high tech scientific thing called i put them in my pockets
far as i can tell the people who got killed didnt leave them put after the first time

The admin sends *spiders* to pick up the chips usually, right? So who sent the weird cloaked thing??
I mean, presumably it was the garbled username person but that's not really an answer, is it

not even once
unless it did during the night but i sleep lightly when this place isnt making me rest
didnt some people see cloaked figures back when we were stuck in the white labyrinth though
i didnt then so i have no idea if theyre similar or not
