Exciting but also incredibly unpleasant (•́ ﹏ •̀) I know it's silly and irrational but the thought of someone else possessing the thing that's defined my entire life while I *don't* have it is
gross, I guess?
Maybe I have more of an ego than I thought and I'm getting fussy because I'm not ~*~*~*special*~*~*~ any more, hehehe ^^;;;

It was pretty unrealistic, though. If this place is a result of Siren influence then it'll be more augmentation than full simulation, I think?
That's much better for keeping things running smoothly, and requires less... babysitting, I suppose?
A simulation would be fabricated from scratch. More prone to bugs, interference, glitches... And it would mean our real bodies would have to be stored and maintained somewhere. A VR augmentation would be different
We'd really be "here," but things may not be exactly as they seem. Harder to test for, too. :\

Not at all. I understand completely. Even if not deliberate, it feels like theft. You build your life around something, and some stranger claims it instead of you? By what right?


But that would explain it. I'm not a big fan of action movies. They're always terribly embarrassing.

"Augmentation" would mean that the basics are there, but not the whole? Pardon my shaky grasp on the terminology. Would that mean that the weather is not real, as such, or perhaps the monsters? Ah, and here is a thought - is it possible that the injections and other interference by the Admin are somehow related to keeping us experiencing the illusion? I can't quite theorize how, but perhaps good old Dr. H was not entirely wrong in his hypothesis about drugs?
