[Jeez Angel, loading on the compliments there aren't ya?]
'Tis but what a beautiful maiden deserves, is it not?
[Eorzea is not much different. All too often the scenario of "dad goes out to get dinner for family, but becomes dinner for a monster" occurs. The monster surplus is ridiculous, and it's even worse when there's sentient dragons mulling about.
Not to mention false gods that pop up every once in a while trying to wipe out the five spoken races.
Or the second moon falling, causing unnatural and permanent climate shifts so that your entire country is thrown into eternal winter, as well as the fragments of the moon coming down and wrecking shit. And I guess that giant god dragon blowing shit up didn't help either.
Or the Garleans trying to take over Eorzea and causing all sorts of problems.

Pray don't apologize, there was foul play involved, and it would be a lie to say I did not take what cruel words you had said to me to heart—or what I had believed to be you. We were both played for fools.
As for the dravanians... my people have weathered a war against their kind for a thousand years. There's no need to apologize, 'tis something us Ishgardians are rather used to.
Oof. I don't even want to know what the false me said, do I? I don't - mmmh. I don't even understand what could cause errors like that.
[ Because it'd be one thing if everyone saw different falsehoods - the delusions would obviously be personal then. But with everyone but the person posting seeing the same altered messages?
Nuh-uh, son. That's some weirdness right there. Either spooky supernatural weirdness or someone deliberately messing with everyone, and neither is a nice thought. ]
Um, anyway. The dravanians are the dragonlike creatures? Or - Mmmh. Is creatures even the right term, if you've been warring with them? Are they animals, or - you know. Sentient? Geez. A thousand years.
[He doesn't wanna say what was said cuz it was a little too true for his poor baby feelings.
He's just as puzzled with the strange network based affliction that happened. It's all pretty creepy when he thinks about it, and so he tries not to.]
They are sentient, and they are indeed creatures besides. While they may be able to speak in our language, they will rip you apart as easily and with no hesitation as any beast. They are creatures without age, and their numbers could very well darken the midday sky.
[He pauses a moment.]
...Though, before I was brought here, we were working on a means to end that thousand year conflict—a means outside eradicating every last one of their ilk. Seeing as that had been our plan for a millennia, and it had brought us nothing but misery and death.
[It also helps that some VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION WAS DISCOVERED TOO. Which means they were gonna try to make peace with them, buuut. buuuut, when you have a thousand years of hatred between both sides, it's not so easy to just go JK GUYS LETS BE FRIENDS!!!]
Oh - then you were wrong the other day. You do have important things to go back home for, see! Not an especially nice reason, but still. I'm sure your help will be needed with smoothing everything over!
[ Because she might not know anything about nobility or magical dragon worlds, but lords are important./i> Right? RIGHT. ]
And Haurchefant's help too, of course. Have you two managed to meet back up yet? Or at least figure out how far away you are?
[He goes silent as he thinks about that. Sure, he might be a Lord of Ishgard, but he has little means of aiding anything. Unlike Artoirel who seems to do everything right, or Haurchefant who is better than both. However, Haurchefant can serve their cause no longer, considering he's still warm in his grave.
The change of topic is a relief, and Emmanellain endeavors to keep his composure, forcing thoughts of home into the furthest reaches of his mind. For all this place sucks and is miserable, at least his brother is still around.]
Not as of yet, I am remaining where I am in an effort to make that possible. Haurchefant is none too far, perhaps a day away, so our reunion will happen ere long.
